Relieve Ankle and Foot Pain with FUTURO™ Braces and Supports
  • Your feet take a lot of pressure and movement every day. Ankle or foot pain, bruising, weakness, severe swelling, or reduced ability to move may indicate that you have an ankle or foot injury, and in some cases, both. They help reduce symptoms by providing compression to the affected area to reduce swelling, prevent fluid collection, and alleviate joint stiffness and ankle pain. Other benefits and features include:

    • Made from breathable materials that allow air to circulate and for cooling comfort
    • Support stiff, sore, or injured ankle or foot to improve blood circulation, minimise pain and discomfort, while providing warmth and targeted compression
    • Provide adjustable levels of compression for proper ankle or foot support

Common Ankle and Foot Injuries

  • Otherwise known as twisted ankle or rolled ankle.

Ankle sprains or strains happen when the strong ligaments supporting your ankle stretch beyond their limits and tear. It’s one of the most common sports injuries, particularly in sports that require a lot of moving, such as basketball, tennis, squash, and football. This unintentional twisting and rolling motion and ankle pain can also happen from walking on uneven concrete surface or slipping on wet roads or ice.

  • Arthritis is inflammation of one or more of your joints and it affects how your joints work. Ankle Arthritis occurs when the cartilage that connects the bones in your ankle joint, rub together — leading to pain, stiffness, loss of movement, and can hinder your daily activities.

  • Plantar fasciitis is a condition where your main arch ligament (plantar fascia), which connects your heel bone to your toes, becomes inflamed and causes severe pain—usually when you take your first steps in the morning. You may develop plantar fasciitis if you stand for long hours working in a factory, departmental store, or restaurant. Other risk factors include obesity, lack of exercise, or having structural foot problems, such as very high arches or very flat feet.

  • Otherwise known as Achilles tendinopathy.

Too much strain on the Achilles tendon, the band of tissue linking your calf muscles to your heel bone, can lead to Achilles tendinitis. The pain begins as a mild ache in the back of the leg or above the heel. It is common in sports that involve lunging and jumping; it also affects those who abruptly increase the intensity of their running programs.
